It supports work in direct and indirect client care activities performed under the supervision of a licensed professional (e.g., psychologist, medical doctor, social worker, or rehabilitation therapist) across multiple clinical settings (e.g., hospitals, behavioral health agencies, government agencies, and nonprofit organizations). The curriculum provides foundational theoretical and practical coverage of human behavior, mental health, ethics, and current research in the field.
