Learn how you can become actively involved in a student organization.
Our student organizations aim to provide members with professional growth, leadership development, and a sense of community. They include academic-focused groups where students can engage with career-related topics and opportunities and interest-based groups that provide students with ways to support and connect with each other through a shared purpose.
Students, alumni, staff, and faculty who join a student organization are encouraged to be active participants in a variety of ways. This may include attending events, collaborating on projects, contributing to activities, and serving in leadership roles. Students can find a majority of the student organizations’ virtual communities along with some informal groups within  (UMGC’s platform for career resources) and on .
